What is a Pinch-o-Crow Creeker?

Founded in 1995 the Pinch-O-Crow Creekers started organizing kayak trips and pool times for the region its named after. Since then its families and friends have enjoyed great paddling opportunities right here in Southwest Alberta. From beginner courses to summer camps to National championships to World Championships, the POCC has helped its paddlers with all their passions. Chuck and Sue Lee

This guy knows what's going on, give him a call !

Chuck is the Executive Director of the Alberta Whitewater Association and chairs the CanoeKayak Canada committee for whitewater leadership and participant development.

In 2013 Chuck was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Award for his contribution to our sport in coaching for over 30 years.

Sue is Ryley and Hannah Penner's mom and has been very supportive of their progress to become the top Junior slalom paddlers in their classes. Sue also sits on the ASCK Board of Directors.

Susan and Scott Gerber

Susan and Scott are Cole and Tyler's parents, two of our C1 and K1 slalom athletes.

Samuel Wey

Sam is a National Team coach and former slalom and sprint kayak / C1 racer from France. Sam coached the POCC team in 2013 and 2014. We saw tremendous improvements in our Elite Team athletes. All of our 6 Elite athletes made the Natonal Team in 2014. This was a great achievement for our small club and a wonderful testament to Sam and the coaches that preceded him that brought these paddlers along.

Kyle Saganiuk

Kyle grew up in the POCC club and was a slalom and freestyle competitor through junior high and high school in Pincher Creek. Kyle is a solid Class IV boater with wonderful skills as an Instructor and Leader for our club programs. Kyle coached our team in 2015.
